Goal of the Activity
Our main goal was to show how Halloween and All Saints days looks like in Poland. We also gave space to Erasmus Students to express how they do that in their countries
Description
In Poland, Halloween is becoming more popular, especially among younger people. It's celebrated on October 31 with costumes, parties, and sometimes trick-or-treating in urban areas. However, it's not a traditional holiday and is often seen as a fun, Western-inspired event.
All Saints' Day (November 1) is a deeply rooted tradition. Families visit cemeteries to light candles and lay flowers on the graves of loved ones. It's a solemn day of remembrance, prayer, and honouring the dead, with a reflective atmosphere throughout the country.
