The "Flag and pizza party" was an introduction week event.
The event took place in our office during dinner. We invited all the students to bring their flags, but at the entrance, some volunteers were ready to draw flags on the faces of our Erasmus participants. Additionally, we organized an icebreaking game to help everyone socialize. The game was called "Find Your Friend" and here's how it worked: on the event participation form, we asked the students to write a feature, phrase, or song that represented them. Then, we wrote these sentences on cards along with the flag of the person (keeping them anonymous), and gave each student a note with the person they had to find.
They enjoyed it, and overall, we had a great time getting to know each other.
