The goal of this activity is to provide Erasmus students with a unique cultural experience by attending the opera Faust at the renowned Teatro Massimo in Palermo. This event aims to introduce participants to the world of opera, enriching their understanding of classical music and theatrical performance while immersing them in the elegance of one of Italy’s most prestigious opera houses.
By attending this performance, students had the opportunity to appreciate the artistic and musical grandeur of Faust, learning about its historical and literary significance. The activity also encouraged cultural engagement and deepened their connection to the artistic traditions of Italy
Erasmus students experienced a night of high culture at the Teatro Massimo, Palermo’s magnificent opera house, where they attended a performance of Faust, the famous opera by Charles Gounod. The evening began with an introduction to the opera’s plot and its musical highlights, allowing participants to understand the dramatic themes and artistic expression of the performance.
As they stepped into the grand theater, students marveled at the opulent interior of Teatro Massimo, one of Europe’s largest and most stunning opera houses.
