To offer ESNcardholders the opportunity to see a different city and its cultures and traditions, as well as to highlight the diversity within Europe (in terms of norms, cultures,...) Furthermore, to give them the possibility to meet new people and make friends. As the event was partially organsied by our Excursion committee, it was also aimed at improving their skills and activism.
We arrived on a Friday in the afternoon and then everyone had some free time. Afterwards, we had all together dinner and went on a, from us organised, Pub Quiz. The next day, we all had breakfast together and went on a city tour. In the afternoon, we went to a museum that taught everyone a lot about the country's history and culture, but also about other things such as design and art. The evening was free for everyone and after a last breakfast together, we went back to Groningen.
