Get the best start of your first semester in Trondheim! π€©
π€© Are you ready for the best semester of your life? π€©
We are certainly ready to welcome you to itπ Us ESN volunteers are going to do our best to organize as much as possible in the begining of the semester to make sure YOU get a fantastic introduction to your new life in Trondheimπͺ
π Events πΊ
ESN will organize as much as our volunteers have the capacity to: and we will focus on the BIG events where everybody can meet! Additionally, in between our big official events, we encourage every Welcome Week Group to organize the suggested activities (more on that further down)π₯
Sudden changes to the events might occur, and more events might be announced closer to the Welcome Week (this page will be updated, and everything will also be announced on our Whatsapp group and Instagram)
π’ 15th of August: Semester Kick-off
π’ 17th of August: Toga Night
π’ 23rd of August: White lies theme
π’ Meeting points: Depening on the weather, the ESN volunteers might suddenly announce a meeting point - we'll bring a speaker to a park, where we can just hang out, have a picnic and mingle π
βοΈ Welcome Week Groups βοΈ
We will create Welcome Week Groups consisting of around 7 exchange students and maybe (if you're lucky) a few ESN volunteers π€© This is the perfect way to get to know even more new people the first weeks of the semester! ππΊ Signing-up for a group is NOT at all mandatory to attend our events, and there will not necessarily be created events particularily for the groups - it's simply just a great opportunity to meet fellow exchange students π You can sign-up for a group here β¬οΈ Read carefully, and make sure you enter the correct details π

Some activity suggestions for the groups:
π’ International dinner: everyone makes something from their country, and have a big dinner together!
π’ Pre-gaming before going out
π’ Hiking
π’ Walking around the city / visiting cafes & pubs
βοΈ Everyone's safety & well-being, your responsibility and oursβοΈ
Our goal is to create spaces where everyone can meet, be comfortable and have a great time. We will facilitate and do our best, but it requires as much from you as us to create the best environment for all. Ultimately, your safety and wellbeing is your own responsibility, also at our events, so take good care of yourself and each other, and let's make it epic π«Ά
Do not hesitate to contact any of the ESN volunteers if you have any uncofortable experiences - we are here to help and make sure you get the optimal start of your semester.
