Goal of the Activity

The goal of this activity is to create a festive and inclusive environment for international students who are away from home during the holiday season. Recognizing the unique experience of being far from home during this time, the Culture Committee is organizing an event on December 2nd to bring together students in a joyous celebration of the holidays.

The main focus of the event is to engage participants in a series of holiday-themed activities, including decorating gingerbread houses, engaging in Christmas arts and crafts, and indulging in holiday treats. These activities are designed not only to evoke the spirit of the season but also to provide an opportunity for students to bond and share cultural traditions. The act of decorating gingerbread houses and engaging in crafts fosters a sense of camaraderie and creativity among participants.

By offering Christmas drinks and sweets, the event aims to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The nominal fee of 7 euros covers the cost of providing gingerbread houses, decorations, and crafting materials, ensuring that participants can fully immerse themselves in the festive experience without additional hassle.

Ultimately, the goal is to build a sense of community and connection among international students who may be missing their home traditions. The organizers express anticipation for the upcoming holiday season and aim to make the celebration a memorable and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Many international students are far from home during the holiday season, which creates the perfect chance to get into spirit together! Come join the Culture Committee on December 2nd for an afternoon of decorating gingerbread houses, Christmas arts and crafts, and enjoying holiday treats. There will be Christmas drinks and sweets; just bring your holiday spirit! For 7 euros, we will provide the gingerbread houses, decorations, and the crafts. Christmas is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
