Escape to Vama Veche 2022 was the first big national event of ESN Romania after the pandemic, bringing together Erasmus students and ESNers at the hippie sea resort in Vama Veche. The theme of the event was Woodstock, as just like the festival, there were three days of peace, love and music. The activities organised promoted the ESN causes of Social Inclusion, Environmental Sustainability and Health and Well-being. Over the 3 days of the event, the participants discovered Vama Veche through a Treasure Hunt and enjoyed the traditional activities Colour Battle, Flag Parade, Beach Olympics and last but not least, helped the community by doing a beach cleaning. Optionally, they could take part in a mental health workshop, a dance class and a bracelets workshop. They enjoyed the night life of Vama Veche in front of a bonfire, at the Latin Party and at the Hippie Beach Club Crawl.
