Goal of the Activity

The aim of the event was for foreign students to visit the Lodz High School to introduce the local students to the Erasmus project and to spend time with them in a festive atmosphere.

Description

The project is a series of workshops conducted in High Schools in Łódź to promote mobility; the first to be visited were students from the Mikołaj Kopernik High School No. 1 in Łódź. The participants first took part in a presentation about ESN and the Centre for International Education at the Technical University of Lodz. Then, through the game 'Password', they found out which country the guest came from (Portugal). Then she gave a presentation about her country and its Christmas traditions. This was followed by puns, during which the participants guessed Polish Christmas traditions. The workshop concluded with the joint creation of a Christmas chain made of paper circles, on which were written the benefits of participating in Erasmus. After making the chain, the students were able to boldly ask the meeting leaders about their Erasmus experience.
