To bring international culture closer to the most isolated areas of Asturias and vice versa. Furthermore, it is important to establish a connection with the rural environment that allows us to raise awareness about sustainability in the natural environment. All of this will generate transversal learning that will equally affect all those involved in the activity. It should be noted that the Lastres school is a small center with few students, due to rural depopulation, a problem present in Asturias. The low number of students, in some way, will facilitate the exchange and conversation between international students and Asturian students.
The activity will begin with the arrival at the center around 9:00 a.m. and the presentation of the Erasmus to the students. Each Erasmus will have to make a brief presentation to the students about their country and its culture. Subsequently, we will carry out a round of questions and games with the boys and girls to promote greater rapprochement and conversation between both groups. Finally, the school children will give international students a tour of the town so that they can learn even more about the rural lifestyle of Lastres. This route will include a visit to two local canneries and the traditional Asturian bowling alley located in the town.
