To introduce and educate local high schools students about different countries, cultures and traditions and doing it in a more fun way while also giving an opportunity for the international students to meet local students and making new connections.
On the 27th of October ESN VU members and Erasmus students, accompanied by students from MRU and KK, have visited Kauno Santaros gimnazija where they shared stories, traditions, culture and beauty of their respective countries.
After the presentations, the students of Kauno Santaros gimnazija wanted to show their gratitude and organised a cooking competition between girls and boys for the tastiest pie. The girls have won but the boys didn't succumb that easy resulting in a fun but full of adrenaline hour of baking.
This visit let students from Santaros gimnazija to not only learn more about the differences of our world but showed them to not be afraid to explore it themselves.
We are fairly certain that some of them would not only go abroad to study but join ESN in the future!
