Goal of the Activity

Regarding the content of the session, it focused on the different opportunities for youth mobility, which were: DiscoverEU, VETS,
European Solidarity Corps, Youth Exchange, Erasmus Studies, and Erasmus Traineeships.
On each of these projects, an overview was given of what is done, how applications can be made, and what are the associated pros
and cons.

Description

This event took place at Escola Secundária Martins Sarmento in Guimarães, on January 31st at 11:40am.
Regarding the number of participants, there were about 20, several students corresponding to a class of 12th grade.
Relatively to the OC, there were about 5 people, who were responsible not only for being present and giving their testimony
but also for helping in the preparation of the session and making all the necessary contacts. These 5 people were ESNers and an Erasmus student.
Regarding the speakers, these were the same members belonging to the OC, since it was responsible for guiding the session.

we also included testimonials from ESNers and the Erasmus Student in each of them, to bring a little more real component, reinforcing how enriching these opportunities can be.
It was also given space for all questions and doubts, giving the possibility to go a little deeper and leaving everyone as clear as
possible.

This session was very important because it made known all the opportunities that are available to the youngest, many of which
are unknown and which were mostly in the hands of the European Union.
Promoting mobility is something of great importance because we end up also promoting multiculturalism and knowledge sharing.
It was a super enriching session with very positive feedback. All students left the session much more informed about the
various opportunities that are available to them, being a way also to plan their future not only academic but also professional and
personal.
It is important to add that projects like Erasmus in Schools are an asset not only for the local community but for our association, we are promoting not only mobility but also our work as volunteers. And at the same time, we are also bringing one of our main values "enrichment of the local community through international students", because we also give them a voice and visibility, we promote their mobility period and they are an important tool to foster multiculturalism and culture sharing,
