The main aim of the event was to connect people from different countries who have experience with various mobility projects and people from local communities with an interest in foreign countries. With that, we had a goal to promote knowledge and experiences about mobility, spread diversity and engage with the local community and initiate intercultural dialogue.
The celebration of 35 years of Erasmus and Year ofYouth was celebrated by three sections in Brno in a unique way. With the support of three biggest universities, three local ESN sections prepared the Erasmus Festival with a Flag Parade.
More than five hundredinternational and local students gathered after noon in the city center with their national flags. The participants - local student community as well as exchange students took their flags and they set out to pass through the city with music. The procession passed through the very center of the city and showed many people in Brno their energy, diversity and the possibility of making something special together.
After the flag parade, we ended up in the university campus where the Erasmus Festival began. There were many bands, mainly the student ones, professional dancers, a chill zone with other student clubs, refreshments and a special corner with Erasmus Sign, where everyone could share their personal feeling and memory about Erasmus.
