This event had multiple objectives:
- Raise awareness on environmental sustainability issues
- Being in contact with nature, since the activity was carried out in an urban park
- Let international students discover the details and peculiarities of one of the most prestigious local attractions in our area
- Encourage outdoor sports
- Encourage brainstorming and exchange of ideas
- Promote healthy competition
The event was held on the afternoon of Sunday 5 March for an effective duration of an hour and a half.
The event consisted of a route of 7 stages scattered around the park. The participants were divided into teams of 3-4 people. Each team was provided with a map of the park (including the route to follow) and a sheet to fill in during the activity. The teams started from the same point in a staggered manner.
For each stage, each team had to find a hidden volunteer and a marker, thanks to a clue given in the previous stage. Once the volunteer was found, the latter asked 2 questions regarding environmental sustainability, which had to be answered on the sheet that was given to the team at the beginning of the competition with the marker just found.
Winner: the team that reached the last stage in the shortest time by having correctly answered the most questions.
