The Earth Day Cefalù, organized by the association to celebrate World Earth Day, aimed to raise awareness in the community about the importance of environmental sustainability and nature conservation. Through a series of activities and initiatives, the goal was to promote eco-friendly practices and stimulate reflection on the need to protect our planet.
The Earth Day Cefalù featured an Eco Village that engaged participants and visitors in an immersive experience dedicated to sustainability. The stands showcased local culinary delights and handmade products crafted from eco-friendly materials. Art installations made from recycled materials provided an engaging and educational visual spectacle, highlighting the creative potential of material reuse. A significant aspect of the event was the planned turtle release, unfortunately postponed due to adverse weather conditions.
