ESN Plovdiv organized an enlightening Cultural Walking Tour of Plovdiv, designed to immerse Erasmus students in the historical and cultural tapestry of the city.

Exploring Plovdiv's Treasures: Participants embarked on a captivating two-and-a-half-hour journey through the heart of Plovdiv. The tour included visits to renowned landmarks such as the Roman Stadium, the Roman Theater, the Old Town, and the Mosque, among others. At each stop, students learned about the historical significance and cultural heritage of these emblematic sites.

Enriching History Lessons: Throughout the tour, ESN Plovdiv volunteers shared insights into the history of Bulgaria and the city of Plovdiv, providing context to the architectural wonders and historical monuments. This educational aspect added depth to the participants' experience, helping them appreciate the city on a deeper level.

Bonding and Friendships: As the tour concluded, a portion of the group decided to continue their exploration by heading to a local bar together. This spontaneous decision highlighted the formation of friendships and the sense of camaraderie among the Erasmus students.
