Goal of the Activity

The goal was to make something delicious and Hungarian staple food. One was the rétes or Strudel and rakott krumpli or layered potatoes. We used a dormitory to hold the workshop and we also played together during the food was in the making!

Description

Hi there cooking freaks! ‍‍

We’re excited to invite you to our brand-new monthly Hungarian Cooking Workshop series, where you’ll get the chance to learn and taste traditional Hungarian recipes!

This time, we’ll start with rakott krumpli – a hearty and easy-to-make one-pot dish with potatoes, sausage, and fresh vegetables.

As a sweet addition, we’ll prepare a classical Hungarian dessert: rétes. It can hold the essence of sour cherry, apple, cottage cheese or many more types of fruits, many people know it by the name Strudel!

Please don’t forget to register in advance – our kitchen space is limited, but it always leads to the best dishes!

You can also register if you have any dietary needs, we'll make the dishes in various forms, so everyone can enjoy!
