ESN Thessaloniki, along with 6 other organizations, organized the Connected We Stand Festival. This festival promotes volunteering as the primary and essential tool of a society, thriving in challenging times. During the festival, adult education workshops were held on topics related to mental health, addiction treatment, gender discrimination, and the environment. There were also workshops for children, training in first aid and disaster management, a live concert, recycling workshops, sports activities by YMCA, awards ceremony, dance and theatrical performances, a comic exhibition, interactive puzzles, and a photography exhibition. In total, almost 100 organizations participated, each having their booth (some also had workshops), informing the public about their actions. Additionally, there was a collection of essential items for the flood victims in Thessaly.
The #ConnectedWeStand returns for the 4th year in the heart of Thessaloniki with free admission and many happenings!
📅 Saturday, September 16, at the most central point of Thessaloniki, we bring the community to life in a celebration of volunteering and contribution. Concerts, live music, dances, workshops, exhibitions, dialogues & panel discussions, and many more activities in a workshop of joy and optimism!
