Showing to Erasmus students coming from other towns the main attractions in Trento and how we try to be more environmentally sustainable.
On December 4th, five different Italian ESN sections came to Trento for a short visit, and we organized a city tour for them.
In particular, we focused on the cultural and historical heritage of our town, which used to be part of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire before the First World War. We also visited the well-known Christmas Markets that take place in the city center every year and attract many tourists from all over Europe.
Besides that, we even showed our guests how Trento deals with environmental issues, thanks to a highly efficient public transportation service, many bike lanes distributed around the town and an organization of the waste management that is recognized as one of the best in Italy.
