The goal was to a healthy eco-friendly activity where the Erasmus students could get to know better their new home, Plovdiv. The goal was reached. And the fact that at the end they all stayed together and went to try Bulgarian cuisine, shows that they had fun and started to become friends.
We took the Erasmus students on a walking tour around the city of Plovdiv, focusing on the centre, showing the Erasmus students the main landmarks and monuments, but also less know location. During the tour Erasmus students discover the history of Bulgaria and among with the oldest city in Europe, Plovdiv.
During the tour the student had the opportunity to taste Bulgarian snack. And we played a game together where they had to guess famous Bulgarian persons, and the winner was taking some other Bulgarian snacks
Apart from general Bulgarian history the participants had the opportunity to hear about some local stories and legends.
After the tour almost everyone went to eat together Bulgarian food, after the nice walk in Plovdiv.
