The main objective of the initiative was to promote active community participation through the organisation of a basketball tournament, conceived not only as an opportunity for sport and competition, but also as an opportunity for people from different backgrounds and cultures to meet, talk and share experiences. The project sought to celebrate differences, promoting social integration and fostering a sense of belonging to an inclusive community among participants.
Through play and team sports, participants had the opportunity to develop positive relationships, collaboration and team spirit, learning to recognise and respect diversity. The initiative therefore served as a real educational and social tool, combining fun, training and personal growth, demonstrating how sport can become a powerful means of promoting inclusion and strengthening bonds within the community.
The second edition of the BK Summer League took place on 20 and 21 June at the CUS Basilicata sports centre. The basketball tournament featured two days packed with games, during which the various teams competed in an atmosphere of healthy competition and camaraderie. The event was accompanied by an engaging DJ set, which made the atmosphere even more dynamic and festive.
Redbull's support was particularly noteworthy, helping to sustain the players during the various matches and confirming the importance of partnerships that promote sport and participation.
The main objective of the initiative was to promote cultural and social integration through sport and physical activity, offering participants the opportunity to experience moments of fun, collaboration and personal growth. The second edition of the BK Summer League thus confirmed its role as an event capable of uniting the community, enhancing the sense of belonging and active participation of all.
