Goal of the Activity

The primary objective of this Erasmus in Schools activity is to deepen the understanding and appreciation of Asian cultures, with a special focus on Japan, among local students. This initiative aims to foster cultural exchange and mutual respect between Erasmus students from Japan and local students. The activity seeks to enhance global awareness by exposing students to Japanese traditions, language, history, and contemporary society. Additionally, the event aims to inspire curiosity and openness towards other cultures, contributing to the students' development as global citizens who value diversity and intercultural dialogue.

Description

This Erasmus in Schools event is centered around the theme of Asia, with a particular emphasis on Japanese culture, presented by Erasmus students from Japan. The event started with an interactive presentation about Japan. Following the presentation, the Japanese students lead a Q&A session where they can ask the Erasmus students about life in Japan, the education system, and what it’s like to study abroad. This session will provide a platform for open dialogue, allowing local students to gain insights into Japanese society and the broader Asian context.

This event is designed not only to educate but also to inspire students to embrace and explore different cultures, laying the groundwork for future opportunities in international education and exchange programs.
