We organized an online event to increase awareness about the HIV trasmission and how to prevent and help people discuss about it
In the occasion of the Social Inclusion Days campaign of autumn 2020, we organized on the 1st of December an online discussion about the HIV trasmission and in general the way to talk and prevent sexually trasmitted diseases, in collaboration with two local associations with whom we collaborate from different years, Pansexual Arcigay Movement of Siena and Italian Medical Student Secretariat (SISM). During the night we had the possibiity to reflect about the importance of this day, and through online quizzes and games, talk about different aspects, from the general information about HIV trasmission and prevention, to therapy, to way to recognize the risk to trasmit or acquire HIV infection. The event has been widely appreciated and strengthened the collaboration between the different associations.
