Description

Are you up for an art and culture adventure? Then join us as we explore the captivating Amos Rex Museum in the heart of Helsinki. Get ready to immerse yourself in a world of fascinating exhibitions and inspiring artworks.

Amos Rex is a renowned contemporary art museum located in a stunning underground gallery beneath Lasipalatsi. It is known for its innovative and immersive art experiences and showcases a diverse range of contemporary art forms, from visual art and multimedia installations to unique architectural designs.

The current exhibition that we are going to visit of the Japanese composer and artist Ryoji Ikeda shows immersive audiovisual installations from sound, light, physical phenomena and mathematical considerations. Important Information for people with sensitive hearing or people with epilepsy: There are loud and high-pitched sounds in the exhibition. Also it is dark in the exhibition and the artworks feature rapidly flackering images and flashing strobe lights.

ESN does not provide a guided tour. However, the hangout at the museum is an opportunity to get to know more people with common interests and discuss & contemplate arts together.

Meet us 10 minutes before at the main entrance in front of the museum. The admission on that day is free for everyone!

Make sure that you can attend the event before booking the ticket. By signing up you agree on using pictures from the event as promotional and marketing material.
