The goal of the activity was to show international students a different part of the city which is quickly growing, becoming an interesting reality full of events that aim to integrate the multicultural community living in the area.
We walked from the city centre of Turin for about 20 minutes to reach the multicultural neighbourhoods of Aurora and Barriera di Milano.
We went looking for street art murals painted on the facades of different buildings in the area and we stopped for a coffee break in Casa del Quartiere. Here Erasmus students learnt about the history of Public Bathrooms, which are still in function today inside the building, and they found out which kind of events are organized there to help the local community. We stayed for one hour inside Casa del Quartiere drinking coffee and socializing before heading back to the city centre.
