Goal of the Activity

the goal of the event was to demonstrate how all areas of development, research and application are interconnected and essential to bring forward sustainable agriculture that does not impact the “environment” too much.

Description

The event was held on May 3 at the UNAHOTELS MH in Matera through a series of seminars, lectures and workshops focused on sustainable agriculture that does not impact too much on the 'environment, then how agriculture acts as a large container for all other areas of research and development.  The topics covered were diverse, from the water emergency to new opportunities for development and technological innovation. The talk also focused on the stories of businesses, people and territories, giving space to the stories and tales of local agricultural enterprises, from the problems they encounter on a daily basis to new innovations. In this edition organized as a Talk, on the British model of TV Talk Shows, the opportunity was given to Lucanian Companies, Enterprises and People to bring in a direct way their testimony of the work done and the social impact had on the territory.
The experience and story of those who have made it to stay in this land, creating valuable opportunities and motivation to continue to grow this region, were the hallmarks of this edition of Agriworld.
