Goal of the Activity

To celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of our beloved section, to cherish the dedication and love invested in ESN by our past and actual members, but also to look back on all the memories that have been shaped over the last fifteen years, we have decided to organise a gala night on April 19, in one of the largest reception halls in Liège.

Description

From its first drafts back in November 2023, this project was far from easy and required a level of organisation and teamwork that no other event had previously challenged us to achieve. It gave each of our members the opportunity to surpass themselves, to develop new skills and, above all, to feel fully involved in an event of such considerable scale.

On the big day, no fewer than 500 people were welcomed at the Palais des Congrès, one of Liège’s most prestigious reception halls, located in one of the most beautiful parks of the city and on the banks of the Meuse. All dressed in their best, former and present Erasmus students, former and actual ESN ULiège members, ESN members from other Belgian sections but also from the national board, and students from Liège had the opportunity to meet up again for some, to get to know each other for others, but above all to spend an unforgettable evening all together. Everyone enjoyed the unique atmosphere of the gala as they hit the dancefloor, grooved to the music of our DJ, made new memories in our photo corner specially set up for the gala, or shared a drink from our wide range of options (not forgetting the presence of our sponsor Drink More Water).

The atmosphere of the evening couldn't have been more in keeping with ESN's values: sharing in diversity (given the wide range of people present at the evening), fun in friendship and family (the service was for example handled by one big family: our former and current members). It was definitely an evening that we will not soon forget.
