The main goal of the event was to raise awareness among members about ESN’s core values in an interactive and memorable way. It also aimed to promote teamwork, creative thinking, and non-verbal communication. The silent theatre format helped participants express complex ideas through visual storytelling and encouraged deeper reflection on each cause.
It was a combined event aimed at informing and engaging members about the core values of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN). The event began with a general session where all participants gathered to learn about the ESN Causes — the main focus areas that guide ESN’s activities across Europe, such as Education & Youth, Health & Well-being, Environmental Sustainability, Skills & Employability, Social Inclusion, and Culture.
After the informative session, members were divided into smaller groups, and each group was assigned one of the ESN Causes. Their task was to create and perform a short silent theatre piece representing that cause. The performances were non-verbal, which required groups to use body language, expressions, and creativity to communicate their message. The audience had to interpret and guess the meaning of each performance, which made the workshop both engaging and thought-provoking.
