The purpose of the excursion was to immerse the exchange students in the rich tapestry of Swiss culture, with a special focus on the distinctive aspects of Swiss German culture. Switzerland, being divided into three main regions, each with its own unique cultural identity, provided a captivating backdrop for this enriching experience.
This was a delightful day trip to Zurich! We began our journey with a visit to the Lindt museum, offering a fascinating glimpse into the chocolate-making process and providing the opportunity to indulge in an unlimited array of delicious Swiss chocolate. Following this sweet experience, we embarked on a scenic boat trip on Lake Zurich, followed by a city tour after lunch. Later, participants enjoyed some free time before concluding the day with a relaxed aperitivo.
