The main objective of the event was to help participants bridge and understand the connection between volunteering in a local community and the implementation of reforms and policies on a larger scale: that of a country, the European Union or even the planet. To structure an agenda with a logical flow that would help us better achieve the aforementioned objective, two Eduk8 Trainers were consulted.
“Youth & Sustainability: From Volunteers to Policymakers” took place in the office of ESN UOPA on the campus of the University of Patras, during the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of April 2022. The OC consisted of 3 ESN volunteers and the participants were either ESN members or students at the University of Patras interested in the subject of the training. Out of the total 25 registered participants, 20 students participated on Saturday and 18 on Sunday.
