We visited the Frig Valley, located between Eskişehir, Afyonkarahisar and Kütahya. Visitors had the chance to witness centuries-old history and see the magnificent works of art in the Frig Valley.
The Frig Valley is home to a wealth of rock-cut reliefs and inscriptions that are of great importance in reflecting the art and culture of the Phrygians.
Recently, we organized a trip to Yazılıkaya. During this trip, we had the chance to take a step into the mysterious world of the Phrygians.
Our trip began with the Midas Monument. This monument was the site of the Phrygians' most important religious ceremonies. The monument features a relief of the Phrygian goddess Matar.
After the monument, we also explored the other rock reliefs at Yazılıkaya. These reliefs offer glimpses into the Phrygians' daily lives, wars, and religion.
During our trip, we felt as if we had taken a journey through time. We followed in the footsteps of the Phrygians, traveling back into the depths of history.
