Goal of the Activity
The main goal of the activity to enable participants to differentiate the sounds in English which will result it better pronunciation. We aim to show participate ways of improving their speaking skills by showing tips and important differences of the sound systems of languages.
Description
The workshop will start with the importance of effective communication and the role of pronunciation in it. Then, the sound articulations which cause the most problem for non-native speakers will be discussed. We will follow-up what we learnt via a Cahoot game. Later, we will discuss the differences between British and American english and give tips for improvement.
