To allow space for our volunteers to plan and host their own workshops
To provide the students within the hectic orientation week a peaceful event with learning and socializing opportunities
To provide the students with information potentially important to them during the semester
During the Workshop day students were able to partake in one or more of the following workshops:
1. Present like the Pro's -> workshop on how to make amazing powerpoint presenations and how to present
2. Mental health -> during this workshop participants learned about tools and resources that can help them during periods of stress and mental hardships
3. Erasmus Memory Collection -> during this workshop participants learned about tools and ways to make memories from the Erasmus semester to last for a lifetime
4. Theather -> During this workshop the participants learned the basics of experimental theather, how to convey emotions with your body and how to just let go and embrace their artistic self
5. Cha Cha Cha -> Participants were able to learn the basics of Cha Cha Cha and to have a nice and refreshing physical activity during the day
6. Survival in Czech Republic -> Participants learned key phrases of Czech, basic social customs, tips and tricks on how people go about their business in the CZ
7. First Aid -> During this workshop people learned the basics of first aid, how to proceed in accident situations and to what instincts/processes to follow
Most of the workshops were done twice to enable attendance to multiple workshops of interest and all of the workshops were held by the volunteers from the ESN MUNI Brno section.
This event was done as a part of Masaryk University's orientation week for incoming international students
