The main goal of our activity was to show not only to Erasmus students the beauty of the sign language, because understanding each other is beautiful.

Description

We created a video in which members of the ESN Comenius University participated. Each of us has learned how to say something in sign language. You can find there some easy words and phrases such as hello, merry Christmas, thank you, but also whole sentences. Creating this video we wanted to show, that everyone is different, but still, we are same human beings. Every language is unique but this one is a bit more charming.

We also created series of Instagram stories, where we presented some information about the sign language. We mentioned different facts - not only the most irritating questions someone can ask deaf person, but also some interesting facts such as the way, how deaf people "clap" after a show or performance, the fact that different countries have their own versions of sign language or the fact that deaf people can also sing in sign language and many many more.
