Providing a late Welcome Week Recap for the Erasmus students who missed the first week in Ankara by showing them around the must-see spots of Ankara.
nt Description: The meeting was held at Güvenpark. Then, public transportation was taken to Hamamönü. The area was explored, and local delicacies such as “irmik helvası” with ice cream and Turkish coffee were tried. Afterwards, Ankara Castle was visited, and the castle and its surroundings were toured. Later, public transportation was taken again to have dinner at Aspava, a place that has become a cultural symbol of Ankara.
The participants took the public transportation together to Hamamönü from Güvenpark. The area was explored and our students enjoyed the local delicacies such as irmik helvası with ice cream, Turkish coffee and delight. Afterwards, a visit to the top of Ankara Castle was held, it’s surroundings were toured. Later, participants enjoyed a lovely dinner at a local Aspava, the best place for a cultural Ankara dinner.
