Goal of the Activity
Goal of the activity was to introduce international students with Baranja county, part of Eastern Croatia, famous for wine industry and traditional local cuisine.
Description
Firstly, we went to lunch in Karanac in the restaurant called Baranjska kuća. The owner welcomed us with drinks and introduce us with famous part of Karanac - Street of Forgotten Times, where we could see old street 'stuck' in time and some old crafts. Later, we had traditional lunch, both meat and vege menu. After that, we went to winery and tried five sorts of wine and the owners introduced us to their family business of making wine. At the end we went to famous viewpoint called Belje, had a snack break and enjoyed fresh air.
