To walk around the city, visit different places of worship that exist in Komotini. To learn the history of the cities monuments.
The event started with a guided tour by an expert volunteer! We visited sites of the city and learnt a lot of historical information. Throughout the tour we had the chance to visit three places of worship, the new mosque of Komotini, a Greek orthodox church and the Armenian orthodox church. We had a nice informative conversation with the priest of the armenian church, learning about the Armenian comunity of Komotini and their religion. After that we made "Martakia" at the main park of the city, and enjoyed a treasure hunt game looking for some graffiti around the city! The taverna part couldn't be missing. We tasted delicious Greek food! At the end, we relaxed playing "tavli"!
