Goal of the Activity

The goal of Welcome Days 2025: But It’s 2015! was to provide a warm and energetic welcome to incoming exchange students in Poznań while creating opportunities for integration, exploration, and cultural exchange. By bringing a nostalgic 2015 twist to the week’s activities, the event aimed to combine fun, connection, and throwback vibes to make the beginning of the Erasmus experience unforgettable.

Description

✨ Are you ready for your Erasmus adventure in Poznań? So were we! From February 24th to March 2nd, ESN UAM Poznań hosted a full week of Welcome Days like never before — with the main theme being the legendary year 2015! Think iconic pop hits, throwback fashion, and major #TBT energy all week long. 🎉💿

Each day offered something special — from exploring the city’s hidden gems, diving into Polish culture, and enjoying non-stop parties, to bonding with new friends over board games, dancing, and sports. Some highlights included:

  • 🥳 Pub Crawl + Cuba Libre Party
  • 🎤 AMU Inauguration, City Tour & Karaoke
  • 🥔 Visit to the Potato Museum + Speed Friending & Games Night
  • 💃 Regional Dance Workshops + Bonding Board at X-Demon
  • 🤸 Jump Arena + Pacha Party
  • 🌍 Field Game + International Dinner + HAH Party
  • 🏐 Pre-LEG + Get-together by the Warta River

To top it off, this edition of Welcome Days proudly featured the Bonding Board as part of Discover Europe 2025, the biggest pan-European photo contest — giving students a chance to submit photos between February 1st – March 31st and win amazing prizes! 📸🌍

With daytime discoveries and nighttime adventures, Welcome Days 2025 was the perfect kickoff to a semester full of memories, laughter, and lifelong friendships — 2015 style! 💚
