The main goal of this weekend was to allow our Erasmus students to discover the culture, landscapes and folklore of Strasbourg and, on a more general level, France. This trip was also meant for them to get to know each other better and to build stronger relationships with each other and with us.
SATURDAY: we started our day by taking the bus rigth to the hotel where we left our luggage to the left-luggage. Then, everyone had the opportunity to discover the city as they wished and eat, enjoying some free time after what we met with ESN Strasbourg. We split up into groups of Erasmus and team members and started an original city tour, a kind of race against the clock to find the city's most emblematic places using a map and pieces of pictures. Then, we headed to the European Parliament where we had the chance to get to know a little bit more about Europe and the institution. We went back to the hotel to get ready for the restaurant where we all ate flammekuche in a typical restaurant. To end the day in style, we went to party in a well-known place in Strasbourg.
SUNDAY : we started the day with a very good breakfast at the hotel, checked out (our suitcases were kept in a locked place) and had free time until 1 pm when we all met in a sandwich store. After that, we went straight for a boat ride on the river, from where we enjoyed a different view of the city. Once the boat tour was over, we had some free time and we met at 5.30 pm in front of the hotel to take our bags and come back to Liège.
The price included : bus, hotel (W/ breakfast), restaurant of the first night (food and drinks), city tour with the ESN Strasbourg, sandwich, entry to the party, boat tour, visit of the European Parliament.
