Goal of the Activity

This event is designed to give Media and Journalism students a deeper connection with their new city. Through an engaging walking tour led by a knowledgeable volunteer guide, participants can explore key landmarks, discover hidden gems, and gain a better understanding of the city's culture, history, and character. This experience aims to foster a sense of belonging and community, providing students with valuable insights into their new surroundings while promoting intercultural exchange and learning.

Description

The walking tour begins at Studenterhus Aarhus and takes students on an engaging route through the university campus and into the heart of the city. Along the way, participants will be introduced to essential landmarks, including ARoS Kunstmuseum, DOKK1, and Navitas, each with its own unique cultural and historical significance. The tour concludes at a street food hall, where students can enjoy dinner together, and continue building connections in a relaxed and friendly setting.
