  • Hiking tour
  • Taking dogs from shelter for a walk
  • Sustainable travelling
  • Supporting local dog shelter
Description

As a part of our Welcome week for international students, we organize a one day trip by public transport to the local dog shelter in Zlín, where we take 5 to 10 dogs for a walk in the forest. Bus ride takes about 15 minutes and then we walk for another 10 minutes to the shelter. We believe, that this activity is not only for physical and mental health, but it raises the awareness of this increasing amount of animals left in shelters. As a part of this activity we always give shelter money, that we collected through selling our cutlery, plates, mugs and other kitchen stuff to the international students. Not only do we support sustainability, but we believe that this money will help the shelter to take care of dogs, cats and other animals there.
