The main goals of the event were assistance in the cat shelter "Cotland Yard" and acquaintance of foreign students with Russian animal shelters. This was not the first event of such format (previously we had done similar event in a dog shelter). The participants not only helped with feeding a large group of cats, but also learned about the problems of this shelter and made small donations.
On October 15th, we've visited the cat shelter "Cotland Yard" as part of the Social Program of our ESN section. We've been helping with the feeding of shelter cats between 18-21 pm. Participation in the event was free, but the participants could make donations in the form of money and things the shelter need: cat food, diapers, towels, toys, medicines etc.
