The main objective of the Wawel Castle visit is to immerse international students in Poland's rich cultural and historical heritage, offering them direct contact with the city's most significant landmark. The visit aims to promote understanding of Polish history and its impact on European culture, strengthening the students' connection to the city hosting them.

In addition, the activity acts as a key component of social integration. By exploring a monumental site together, students share a high-impact cultural experience that sparks conversation.

Description

The visit to Wawel Castle offered international students the chance to explore the historic residence of Polish kings and a symbol of national identity. Participants were guided through the magnificent State Rooms and Royal Private Apartments (Royal Chambers), admiring Renaissance interiors and historical furniture, as well as the unique collection of Turkish Tents, showcasing exotic historical artifacts.

This excursion provided not only deep historical insight but also an immersive cultural experience. It was a perfect opportunity for students to learn about Polish history and the country's connections to other cultures in a tangible way.
