Vinokilo (Vintage Kilo Festival) is a temporary shop full of second-hand, vintage clothes
The main goal of the event was to promote a more sustainable form of consumption, normalizing second-hand shops, and recycling.
We are surrounded by objects, and most of the time there is no need to buy a brand-new item when we find the same commodity on a second-hand app (store or market) for half of the price.
If in the past buying used clothes was a sort of taboo, now it isn't. Luckily consumption behavior patterns are changing towards a more sustainable form, but we have to work on it.
Vintage clothes are getting so trendy nowadays. People want to wear old, fashionable clothes… but where to buy this stuff??
Well, Vinokilo is the answer.
Vinokilo (Vintage Kilo Festival) is a temporary shop full of second-hand, vintage clothes. It will visit the city of Bologna on the 2nd of December, and it’s the perfect occasion for anyone who needs some new items, or hasn’t finished buying Christmas presents for his relatives... Vinokilo is an event that goes beyond shopping: it celebrates taste, style, and sustainability. All the items will be paid based on their weight (conversion rate: 1kg of clothes: 40€).
