The purpose of our visit to the school was to introduce students to the University of Zadar in more detail, with a particular focus on the opportunities it offers for academic and personal development. We also aimed to inform them about student mobility programs, such as Erasmus+, and to present the activities and support services provided by the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), which plays a key role in helping students make the most of their exchange experiences.
During our visit to the school, a student from the University of Zadar held a presentation aimed at informing the students about life and studies at the university. She began by sharing her own academic journey, providing insights into the study programs, student life, and the overall experience of being a university student.
In the second part of the presentation, she introduced her role as a member of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN). She explained what ESN is, its mission, and how it supports both incoming and outgoing students within mobility programs like Erasmus+. She highlighted the various activities ESN organizes — including welcome events, cultural trips, language exchange sessions, and social gatherings — all of which help students adapt, connect, and get the most out of their mobility experience.
The session was interactive, with students showing interest and asking questions, especially about how they could one day participate in such programs. It was an inspiring and informative visit, aimed at encouraging young people to explore academic and international opportunities beyond their local environment.
