To provide participants with a relaxing yet informative experience by exploring cultural and natural sites in Citta Alta. The visit to Sala Viscontea aimed to educate attendees on botanical paintings, pomological collections, ancient plant models, and thematic exhibitions, while the trip to the Botanical Garden allowed participants to enjoy and connect with nature. Additionally, the social gathering at La Marianna aimed to foster community and facilitate social interactions among participants.
We met in front of La Marianna at 15.00 and waited 15 mins more for everybody to arrive. Then we first visited Sala Viscontea where we waited around 10 mins for the attendant to open the place for us. Mara, the responsible there, did a brief introduction of the place and talked about the materials inside. It’s a really small place so we didn’t spend much time in there. Then, we walked to the botanical garden together where everybody wandered around freely. People took photos and we spent about an hour there. After leaving the place all together, we went to La Marianna together and spent some time there. People ordered hot beverages and ice creams and we sat about an hour chatting. It was a really nice way to end the day and I think everybody enjoyed trying different things in an historical place such as La Marianna.
