Goal of the Activity

The aim of this event is to raise awareness about what veganism advocates in terms of health, climate and ethics, and to break common prejudices about veganism. Many vegan food brands sponsoring the event, aim to show people that, contrary to popular belief, vegan food is not only healthy but also delicious. 


The Vegan Panel was held as an event consisting of multiple parts. These parts can be described as vegan food tasting, vegan summit and vegan sushi workshop. Our event featured participants such as Vegan Economy Specialist "Gülbike Mirzaoğlu", Vegan Strongman "Doğan Doğan", Vegan Doctor "Hakan Şentürk",  Vegan Chef "Derya Manav", Vegan Crossfit Trainer "Gizem Kalak", also organizations and restaurants such as "Yoket", "Team Hummus", "Etyok", "Hamburg", "VegKek" and "Animal Save Moment". The summit started with Gülbike Mirzaoğlu's speech and continued with the speeches od Doğan Doğan, Gizem Kalak, Hakan Şentürk, respectively. Our speakers touched upon topics such as "Animal Rights", "Vegan Nutrition and Sports", "Vegan Nutrition and Health", "Effects of Our Food Choices on the World". Before Gülbike Mirzaoğlu's closing speech a food tasting break was given and varios Vegan dishes such as Vegan Taco, Vegan Cupcake, Vegan Kebab and Falafel Wrap were served.
