The primary objective for Freshers Week Day 1 is to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for new Erasmus students, fostering a sense of community and connection with the local culture. The goal is to introduce them to the vibrant local scene and provide a well-rounded initiation into their temporary home. By the end of the day, the aim is for students to feel excited, engaged, and motivated to participate in various activities throughout their exchange program.
As part of the vibrant Freshers Week Day 1, a dedicated desk will be set up where Erasmus Student Network (ESN) cards are available for purchase. This strategic placement not only facilitates the distribution of essential ESN cards but also serves as a hub for meeting and getting to know the new students. The desk will be staffed with friendly coordinators who will engage with freshers, discussing their backgrounds, interests, and experiences. This creates an interactive environment where students can simultaneously obtain their ESN cards and build connections with the Erasmus community.
