The primary goals of the Tuscany trip were to provide international students with a comprehensive cultural experience by exploring four of the region's most beautiful cities: Siena, San Gimignano, Florence, and Pisa. The trip aimed to immerse students in the rich historical and cultural heritage of Tuscany, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of Italian art, architecture, and traditions. It also sought to facilitate social interaction and bonding among international students, helping them to make new friends and integrate more easily into their new environment. Additionally, the trip offered educational tours and guided visits to significant landmarks, such as the Uffizi Gallery and historic city centers, providing insightful learning experiences. Introducing students to the renowned Tuscan cuisine and Chianti wine offered a taste of local culinary delights. Balancing cultural and educational activities with recreational opportunities, including nightlife experiences and free time for personal exploration, ensured a well-rounded and enjoyable experience for all participants
The Tuscany trip provided an exciting opportunity to explore four of the most beautiful cities in the region known for its landscapes, history, good food, and Chianti wine. Scheduled from the 1st to the 3rd of March.
We departed from Bocconi University on Friday morning and arrived in Siena, where students had lunch on their own before embarking on a guided city tour. After exploring Siena, we traveled to San Gimignano for a visit and then continued to Florence. In Florence, students enjoyed dinner at the hostel, followed by a pregame and club night organized with ESN Florence.
On Saturday, the day started with a guided city tour of Florence, followed by lunch on their own and free time in the afternoon to explore the city. In the evening, students had dinner at the hostel and another club night.
Sunday began with checking out from the hostel and a visit to the Uffizi Gallery. After the museum visit, students had lunch on their own before traveling to Pisa. The trip included a visit to Pisa, and we departed for Milan in the evening.
This Tuscany trip provided a rich blend of cultural, educational, and social experiences over three days. Starting with a morning departure from Bocconi University the journey included city tours of Siena, San Gimignano, Florence, and Pisa.
