First welcoming the day with a rich Turkish Breakfast. After having a lot of Turkish Tea it's time to visit Türkiye's one of the important places , Anıtkabir. This is where the mausoleum of the first president of Türkiye is, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
Students were welcomed with a traditional Turkish breakfast, providing a warm and friendly setting for them to introduce themselves and engage in their first interactions with other participants. The breakfast was served, allowing everyone to enjoy a rich cultural experience in a relaxed atmosphere.
Following the breakfast, the event continued with a walk through the Beşevler area, leading students to the next destination, Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. At Anıtkabir, participants had the opportunity to witness the change of duty ceremony of the soldiers, explore the Anıtkabir Museum where a lot of history is laying , and visit the tomb of İsmet İnönü, the second president of Türkiye.
Detailed historical and cultural information was provided throughout the visit, enriching the students' understanding of Turkish history.
The event concluded with a walk along the Path of Lions. The Path of Lions is in total 262 meters long and has 5 centimeter gaps between the paving stones. This is for visitors to take their time observe respectful behavior on their way to Atatürk's tomb. The name of this path comes from the 24 lion sculptures lining both sides. Each one of the lions are representing the 24 tribes of the Oghuz Turks as well as symbolizing power and tranquility.
While walking this special path students reflected on the experience before exiting the grounds.
