The event aimed to introduce Erasmus students to the traditional Turkish breakfast culture while creating a warm and inclusive environment for socializing. By sharing a meal, participants had the opportunity to bond, engage in cultural exchange, and deepen their appreciation for Turkish cuisine. The event encouraged meaningful connections and helped students feel more integrated into their new surroundings in İzmir.
The event brought Erasmus students together for an authentic Turkish breakfast experience, allowing them to immerse themselves in local culinary traditions while socializing with their peers. It was held at a traditional café, the breakfast featured a rich spread of Turkish delicacies, including simit, cheeses, olives, gozleme, honey with clotted cream, and Turkish tea. Throughout the meal, students had the chance to learn about the cultural significance of Turkish breakfast, share stories, and make new connections in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The gathering helped students feel more at home in İzmir while enjoying a delicious and leisurely morning.
